Daan Dijk

Before joining Rabobank’s in 1999, Daniel worked for almost 20 years in the energy sector as a consultant, project manager and business developer for respectively: the Centre for Energy Conservation (Delft) , The Centre for Energy and Environmental Studies (Groningen University ), The Dutch Electricity Generating Board (Arnhem).

Within Rabobank Daniel presently holds the position of associate director in the Corporate Social Responsibility department where he is responsible for business development in the field of Sustainable Energy, Environmental Markets and Clean Tech.

- Member Steering Group Clean tech (Rabobank)
- Member of the Dutch Transition Platform Sustainable Energy 
- Member “Cramer Committee” on sustainable biomass production 
- Board member of the BIOPEC industry initiative for sustainable biomass production and certification
- Advisory member of Clean Tech Holland
Daniel (1955) studied Chemical Physics at the University of Groningen (BSc, 1977) and Tel Aviv (MSc, 1980) and has published extensively on Energy Conservation, Power Expansion Planning, Cogeneration, Renewable Energy Markets, Biofuels ,Climate Change & carbon Trading.
In 2007 Daniel was awarded the UNEP-FI Carbon Leadership Award.
